HCA'S
Our Healthcare Assistants and Support workers are fully trained and competent in assisting residents with all their ADLs such as washing, dressing, toileting, assistance with incontinence, mobility, support with nutrition and hydration and record keeping.
Kitchen Assistants
Our Kitchen assistants offers support to your chefs/cooks - Kitchen assistants supports with cleaning, washing and preparation duties required in the kitchen. They will assist cooks and kitchen supervisors with all task necessary to ensure that kitchen operations run smoothly.
Our Kitchen assistants can support with the following:
- Assisting cook with the preparation of meal ingredient's, which includes washing, cleaning, peeling, cutting and chopping fruits, vegetables, poultry and meat.
- washing up appropriately, storing all cooking appliances, instruments, utensils, cutting boards and dishes.
- cleaning of fridge/freezer, preparation area's and storage room according to hygiene standards
- Sweeping and mopping the kitchen floor as well as wiping down walls and surfaces.
- Assisting and unloading of delivered food supplies.
- Organising and appropriately storing food supplies.
- Promptly transferring meal ingredients from storage areas to the kitchen as per the cook's instructions.
- Stirring and heating soups and sauces as well as preparing hot beverages.
